As part of their ongoing series on local research radio RN7 talked to Joanneke Weerdmeester about her research with the VR biofeedback game DEEP.
They discussed: DEEP's aim to help people manage their stress and anxiety through deep diaphragmatic breathing, DEEP's implementation of stressful 'exposure' environments, the promising research findings with regard to anxiety reduction, and the possibility of broadening DEEP's scope to prevention or supporting the recovery process of Covid-19 patients.
