Social media and young people’s mental health and wellbeing

One of the great challenges of doing research on applied games for emotional and mental health in youth whilst yourself being well into your thirties is to connect with kids' (digital) lives. Clearly, the role of social media is enormous for young people today but in what way, what platforms serve which purpose, and how does their digital life interact with the non-digital?
