"Limits at Infinity": Dr. Nastasia Griffioen has successfully defended her research on social media and youth wellbeing

Last Monday, September 12th 2022, I had the massive privilege of defending my PhD dissertation at the Radboud University. With a stellar committee featuring some of the best and brightest in our field of social media and wellbeing—Prof. Candice Odgers, Dr. Amy Orben, Dr. Jesper Aagaard, Prof. Sonia Livingstone and Prof. Patti Valkenburg—I can now truly say it was an honour and pleasure to discuss the many different and complex aspects of social media research. Naturally, without my amazing supervisors Isabela Granic and Anna Lichtwarck-Aschoff this wouldn't have been the exciting and fun journey that it was, and thanks to my wonderful paranymphs for their emotional support!

Curious about my work? You can access the full dissertation here, on Radboud University's repository, but also check out my personal website for some more low-key reflections on our digital lives.
